The first time I met Jeremy Ivey was last year at The Basement East, he and his wife Margo Price, were comin in hot after the Americana Awards to do a few songs. He was stepping out of the car & I said to my friend, man chicken sounds so good, and Ivey said, we just had that you should go get some too! Fast forward to this summer in the Grove here in STL, where they were playing a gig at the Atomic Cowboy, when we officially met and he agreed to an interview.
We caught up recently at Vintage Vinyl, a St. Louis institution, and talked about kids & touring & music & age....
He has a new album out called The Dream & The Dreamer, he talks about it all in the interview.... enjoy!!!
